I did Race For Life this afternoon !! 5km (3 Miles!) round a local park, it was such a laugh and for a great cause No spectacular feats of photography today, but 2 pics that mean a lot. 1, a copy of what has been on my back all afternoon and what is still there!!! I Race For Life for : Frankie Boy, My Great-Grandad. R.I.P My Friends raced for their Papa on Fathers day and Our Mini Runner ran for her Nonna! 1) 2) Me after the race that i so nearly didn't think i was gonna complete!!! In the Pub, drinking Diet Coke!!! Look i have a medal!!! :) So despite only having £25 in sponsorship ($50 aprox) i feel good for doing it, i'm convinced people didn't think i was gonna do it but i have and i can't wait to do it again next year!!! so well done to everyone who has done a Race For Life this summer or has one coming up!!! My Hair never curls!!!! but like a sucker i went out an bought yet another pair of curling tongs!!! but thanks to them going to 230 degree C, it does and these curls are with out the aid of any styling products!!! Couple of other things i want to get off my chest: i had a semi psychic moment today in town, there was this woman walking down the road with a M&S bag for life and we don't have an M&S where i live!! i thought to myself it must be hard for security guards to spot shop lifters with a lot of people using bags for life, years a go i worked with the security guard in a shop and she told me a lot of shop lifters tend too have a bag from a shop that isn't in the town that the shop lift from, so for example where i live it could be an M&S bag or A bhs BAG. just as i thought my though a girl from the body shop came out of the shopping centre with a security guard and shouted that her running now with the purple top, when i looked it was the woman i'd seen with the M&S bag how bizzar!!! there was something else but its gone for now!!! :)

I'm in Shock This Pic worked!!! i have been racking my brains since about 7pm when i got home what to do, no natural drips as no rain, my dad's not watered the plants so no drips there!!! hmmm, then when i was taking my glass back to the kitchen i decided to turn the tap on full belt and see what occurred!!! from the little screen i couldn't see the little drips / drops, just the main water but thought it looks quite cool, to my suprise on screen you can see little drips/drops flying off, so unless i'm feeling creative tomorrow this will have to do, what do you think? Wow there has been some fab takes on todays prompt, i must admit that i had a few sneaky peeks before i looks my pic!!! feeling a bit limited as can't venture far as in PJ bottoms!!! The top of the back step was far enough for me!!! This is next doors kitty, i went for a wander down the backin's to see what i could see!!! and there she was "trapped" behind a neighbors gate!!! Just wanted to say a couple of things about yesterdays picture and my visit to Aushwitz. before i went people had said no birds fly over, its eerily quiet, so to my surprise we pulled up in the car park, it was a bright warm day, birds were singing people where chattering away, as soon as you go through the visitors centre and past the gate "work brings freedom" the air changes, its quiet, even though you can see a motor way type road through the back fence, you can't hear or see any brids, its as if they know to stay away. As you can see from the sky the weather had changed when we got to Birkenu, the sky was grey and the chill in the air was even more present. I don't think you can fully understand it until you are there. i'd also like to correct my mistake of saying European History i did mean World History!

I went for Train Track, possibly one of the most famous and sickening train tracks in history, This is the picture i took from Birkenau AKA Aushwitz II. This was a place of such vicious cruelty and i wasn't sure how i would feel going. It was an overwhelmingly emotional day and one that will never be forgotten. When people ask you how was it you look miserable coz there are no words, amazing is wrong fasenating is sick but when you say sad upsetting and emotional people ask why you went, but it is such a huge part of our European History, No British people where taken there (some did go to Aushwitz III) but i think if you ever go to Krakow in Poland you have to Visit!!! Ok i'll shut up now !!!

Today's the day to show off those pics :) Not sure if this should be a show off or not but haven't got any pretty pics to share, this is round one of 5 that we had last night at Efes Turkish Restaurant in Manchester. I had an hmmmmm time, not my kinda thing, hated the food that cost we £22 and the whole thing cost over £60!!!!! :( It wouldn't have been too bad if i ate Lamb but i don't and it is almost a pre-requsit for turkish menus, but i didn't expect all the meats to be piled up on top of one and other, i thought it'd be a but like La Tasca when you get separate plates of each dish! but No!!! my friend managed to pic me off 2 small peices of chcken and 2 chicken wings that hadn't got lamb touching them but the side dish was rice and it was under all the meat so i wouldn't touch it cos it had lamb jucies on it!! i felt like i was gonna be sick all the time i was there, i've only just come to terms with sitting with people who eat lamb but having to eat meat off the same plate!!! as soon as i'd had my 4 scraps which did have a faint lamb flavour i had to leave the table i pretended to be going for a fag but i stood out side heaving. i can't expain what it is about lamb that i hate so much, i think the smell comes first, the look of it the grey/ brown sliminess of it and the texture its one of the type of food when you are chewing and chewing and it doesn't go anywhere!!! i haven't eaten lamb since iwas about 10 years old with the exception of a couple of very ill advised Donner Kebabs when i have been too drunk to see and it seems like a really good idea belive me i havre always regreted them the last one i had was about 4 years ago and i could taste it for a week, i've also eaten lamb in a meat samosa wheni was very drunk, i was told it was veg and it was only after i had taken a bite i realised that was soon discarded. my friends think that cos i have managed to eat these things when i have been drunk i could be able to eat say a Lamb chop, but donner kebabs don't have that over powering lambiness to them maybe because in my own personal opinion i think they are donkey or horse meat may be even goat or llama meat!!!

Miniature Sweet Peas Pass a pretty flower in the hanging basket A Rose about to Bloom No Idea what these are but i really like them, they are in next doors from garden! Again another Mystery plant, they are from some seeds my dad got from the Sunday times the aren't meant to bloom till august but the times said plant them before xmas and if the frost doesn't kill them they will flower early. they looks really spiky and prickly but they are so soft and have the really pretty pink flowers

When i was out shopping today i decided to walk through the old arcade next to woolworths and in what used to be shop fronts was this display, i took a pic of each window / door panel, if you click on the pic it will make it easier to read if you fancy a nosy!!! its obviously been there a while and i didn't know, don't really wanna keep it on this BLOG as this should just be HS:MS but its not right for my abandoned ww blog me and ww aren't mates at the mo!!! i might stick it on face book????? suggestions welcome?!
